Donate essential materials for PAHS

We are requesting donations of resources for the PAHS lecture rooms, labs, library, and media centre. Necessary items include:

Computers
To provide students with a quality education that will enable them to become leaders in health care, PAHS needs a number of computers, printers, multimedia projectors, and related hardware. If you have computers or other electronics that can be used at the academy, including items that you no longer need, please consider donating them.

Library Materials
We are deeply in need of materials for the library at PAHS. Donations of new or used medical books, particularly textbooks, will be greatly appreciated. Electronic educational resources are also very helpful, partly because it’s easy to bring them to Nepal and to make many copies of them. These resources include CD-ROMs, and audio and video recordings of lectures and presentations. Furthermore, if you know of any online teaching resources for medical education, please let us know about them.

Laboratory equipment
If you, or any of your colleagues, have access to medical supplies, please consider donating equipment for the basic science labs. We need materials for the labs for Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology.

 

Transporting supplies to Nepal is always a consideration. Many supporters of PAHS bring materials for the academy whenever they visit Nepal. If you would like to donate some books or other supplies, but do not know how to bring them to Nepal, we can try to arrange for someone near you to get the materials from you and bring them to PAHS.

Additionally, if you plan to travel to Nepal in the future and have some space in your luggage, we will be very grateful if you can bring some donated materials with you. We can arrange for the supplies to be brought to you, and we will get the items from you when you arrive in Nepal.
