Professor Sangita S Bhandari has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) taking over the founder vice-chancellor Dr. Arjun Karki. Previously she was the Head of Otorhinolaryngology Department at BP Koirala Institute Health Sciences, Dharan. She joined the academy from 30 August 2012. Remarkably she is also the first female vice-chancellor in the history of Nepal. PAHS and Patan Hospital would like to congratulate her and wish a successful tenure.
